How to participate
Suggested steps to evaluate program
We are started this project with a simple hypothesis that adolescents can learn and develop a healthy nuanced understanding of their emotional system. It is clear from the comments that the students were eager to learn these principles and this knowledge is not easily comprehensible from TikTok, social media or is included in the current school curriculum.
I think the How are you Feeling? program should be a part of my school education because the lessons it teaches are incredibly valuable, especially as students come of age. The format in which the lessons are taught are incredibly engaging for students and makes them easier to comprehend. I also think that the implementation of HAYF in schools would fill a gap in education that needs to be filled. (Margaux 16)
Every Parent with now adult children who has viewed the program has recognized how valuable this could have been to their children during their adolescence. Unfortuately, we have had a very difficult time getting School Administrators to invest their time. So we are proposing this opportunity in a little unorthodox way with a $50,000 endowment. Something about building on the wisdom of experience of past parents.
Exploratory Meetings
If you have any questions or need more information about the program, we are available by email, phone, zoom or we can make a visit for a meeting or presentation. The letter and the supporting documents can be sent electronically be sending this link. howareyoufeeling.org/letter. In order to get a representative opinion from your parents, we would suggest 10 to 20 parents would be appropriate to participate in the the review.
2. Organize a book-club type program to review program
3. Approach the school with a proposal.
Getting stuck in your feelings can change the arc of your life.
